Executive Development Programs

Cohorts of 15-30 people. Tailored for the organization. Leaders and fast-rising talent.

While each of our programs is unique to the client, most 12-month executive programs include the core program content with a blend of elective sessions that suits the needs of the organization. Each session has in-depth curricula with supporting multimedia materials and custom-written case studies relevant to the specific cohort.

CORE PROGRAM CONTENT

Our executive development programs are designed for those executives and rising leaders who are required to develop strategy in ambiguous economic environments, manage multiple high-demand stakeholders, lead and motivate teams in the face of uncertainty, be responsible for transforming products and services, and resolve conflict across groups.

Each program is custom-branded for the client organization with a blend of in-person, live-virtual, and pre-recorded video content combined with physical media - books, articles, guides - that guide participants through core and elective sessions.

The program is taught by a transatlantic team, blending expertise and experience to match the participants' particular needs.

FEES, EXPENSES, AND VENUES

Fees are fixed based on number of participants and locations or included as part of an Envoy Subscription.

All program fees included: materials, resource websites, online learning and collaboration tools, virtual event software, instructor travel, accommodation, and meal expenses for instructors and guest speakers.

In-person sessions can be delivered at our retreat center in Virginia or at a location of client choice (though where possible, we prefer to deliver programs outside the place of work, and ideally not in a standard hotel meeting room). We have access to a raft of low-cost/high-impact venues across major cities around the world and a production team who can source exciting venues and experiences at discounted rates.

INSTRUCTORS & DELIVERY-STYLE

All are full-time or part-time members of the Envoy Team. We work together consistently, and the intensity of delivery is largely driven by the energy between facilitators and our comfort in encouraging executive-level debate, inquiry, and constructive disagreements. Sessions consistently shift from concept instruction to application and debate and utilize all forms of media across the senses. We integrate custom case studies to make the learning materials relevant to each cohort and frequently have guest experts to illustrate points or bring energy to the programming.

IDEAL PARTICIPANTS

“Executive” and “high-potential” are words that have had inflated applications. This is genuinely a program for executive and rapid-rising individuals and not a management development program. This program assumes that individuals know the blocking and tackling work of managing budgets, delivering performance reviews, and leading projects. The content of this program presumes individuals are operating in high-intensity situations with multi-domains of (often classified or sensitive) responsibility, demanding stakeholders, and ambitious strategic environments. Sessions are designed to facilitate debate, disagreement, and comfort with optional versus “right” answers.
