Jardin - The Fan
Jardin is a wine joint run by RVA wine people. They don't sell collectables or investment bottles, but wine to drink now. They're happy to get somm-nerdy with you if you'd like, but you don't need to know anything about wine to enjoy their shop, bar, or garden. Jardin is a wine shop for the people.

As the second oldest craft brewery in Virginia, Starr Hill has led the way as a pioneer in the industry, helping to lay the groundwork for the growing craft beer community in the region. They have been pouring beers and sharing the love at live music festivals since the first Bonnaroo and FloydFest in 2002.

Laura Lee’s is an updated take on the American fern bar. Their space is comfortable and lovely, with living walls, padded chairs and semi-circular booths, a classic mirrored bar, and a backyard garden patio. Great for intimate team dinners and delicious drinks.

Sub Rosa Bakery - Church Hill
Siblings Evrim and Evin Dogu only use regionally-grown heirloom grains. Then, they take things further by milling on-site and baking everything in the wood-fired masonry oven. While the buttery, puffy, and gorgeously layered croissants are spectucular, don’t pass up on the Pide Flatbread, Pogaca, and Lamb Börek that pay homage to the Dogus’ Turkish roots.

Forest Hill Park Trail System
Forest Hill Park Trail is a 2.7 mile heavily trafficked loop trail that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.

Quirk Rooftop
The 2,800-square-foot rooftop space can accommodate about 200 guests standing or 120 for a more formal, seated event. Beer, wine, cider on tap and craft cocktails offered and the views are free.

The American Civil War Museum
Located in downtown Richmond along the James River, the Historic Tredegar site is home to an award-winning 30,000 sq. ft. Museum surrounding the industrial ruins of Tredegar Ironworks. The building contains two galleries for exhibits (one permanent, two rotating) and has over 500 artifacts on display.
